Torsional tuned mass dampers
Torsional tuned mass dampers (torsional TMD) reduce dynamic rotational vibration forces in rotatory machinery (e.g. in gearboxes and generators of wind turbines) by introducing damping.
Torsional TMDs made by ESM are available for driving speeds between 10 rpm and 3,000 rpm. Frequency and inertia are adapted to the specific requirements. Balancing is possible if required.
