Clamping bushings
The clamping bushing was developed by ESM for the mounting of gears with a three-point mounting system (patented under EP 1 046 832 B1). This type of bushing is outstanding for its ease of installation and optimum vibration and damping characteristics, which prevent material fatigue. The clamping bushing consists of two half-shells, each mounted in a clamping block.
The most common standard types are described below.
| |||||
The bushing can be installed following a simple clamping process. This means simplified installation, especially when working in the machinery room of wind turbines.
After the pre-stressing of one bushing half, the second half is simply pushed in. Dimensions UB 99/014 Ø i = 132mm Ø a = 230mm l = 310mm
Installation outside the torque arm For the absorption of greater torques or forces, a clamping bushing is installed in a metal housing, one before and one after the torque arm.

If required, we can also design and manufacture the housing for your particular application.

Our Clamping bushings are available in different dimensions and strengths: Øi = 120 to 240 mm Øa = 200 to 320 mm l = 180 to 310 mm Ask us about the optimum dimensions and strengths for your application, please.
